All about us
WHY?
We started this program to give back what we wish we had. We have created tutor4u to build a safe learning space for kids to get help from others who shared similar experiences.
Our goal for this program is to teach CONCEPTS, not just memorization. In turn, helping students make connections between what they have learned, filling the gaps of their learning. In time, we hope they encounter a passion to build their own education.
OUR GOAL
We started this program to offer a new perspective on work that appears redundant, emphasizing the opportunity it provides for growth. Our goal is to create a loving, supportive environment to let students thrive and learn in a positive way. Learning is not simply reading from a textbook. Rather, it is an accumulation of understanding what is in front of you, questioning it, and coming to conclusions.
OUR ADVICE
These three steps are essential to positive learning. They are only some of the helpful concepts to keep in mind.

Starting small is always good. Baby steps are not as small as you think when they add up.

To fine tune your skills, practicing consistently comes in handy. If you get a question wrong, it isn’t the end of the world! Mistakes happen, and they help you remember what to do next time.

Remember your goals. It doesn’t seem like much, but if you trail off away from the goal you might lose the chance to get it!
